Yoga Studies Summer School

The Jagiellonian University Institute for the Study of Religions
21st July - 5th August 2017

The event is intended as a learning platform for university students, scholars, and non-academics who wish to broaden their knowledge of yoga. World class specialists will deliver lectures on a wide range of topics related to the academic study of yoga, and provide insight into cutting-edge research. Some of the courses will include a workshop part, involving Sanskrit recitation and practice of basic modern yoga techniques.

Yoga for Alzheimer's - Oxford Charity Event

The Yoga for Alzheimer's Oxford event will be a three hour collaborative class (starting at 11am) taught by three experienced teachers on the International Day of Yoga (21st June 2016). Jacqueline Hargreaves will be offering the final segment focused on quiet meditative techniques and methods to cultivate deep relaxation.

Location: Museum of Oxford, St Aldate's Oxford OX1 1BX
Cost: £15 for the whole morning. 

All proceeds go to Alzheimer's Research UK.
